Safety
and comfort

Safety comes from specific steps: skin assessment, precise settings, cooling, feedback throughout the treatment and well-maintained equipment.

Safety is checked at every stage

It is not a single machine feature, but a clear sequence of steps before, during and after treatment.

  1. 01

We assess the skin and ask about tanning

Your specialist assesses the area and asks how your skin responded in the past.

  2. 02

    We consider important information

Medication, active skincare and changes in your wellbeing can affect whether treatment should go ahead.

  3. 03

    We select the settings

Settings are never copied blindly; they are selected for your skin, hair and treatment area.

  4. 04

    We protect the eyes

The client and specialist use dedicated protective glasses.

  5. 05

    We monitor cooling

The specialist monitors handpiece contact and the cooling system.

  6. 06

    We monitor the skin response

During treatment, your specialist asks about your comfort and checks the area again afterwards.

One standard across the network

We control more than the treatment itself: specialist training, equipment maintenance and workspace preparation are all part of the standard.

Citiwell specialist presents the shared safety protocol
01

Shared working standard

Training combines safety, settings, consultation and the working protocol.

Laser equipment diagnostics and maintenance
02

Scheduled maintenance

The machine, handpiece and cooling system are checked and service records are maintained.

Complete Citiwell laser handpiece on a clean prepared surface
03

Clean workspace

Contact surfaces and materials are prepared to the studio standard.

Sometimes rescheduling is safer

If the skin is recently tanned, irritated or another important factor is present, treatment does not proceed automatically. Rescheduling in this situation shows that the safety standard is working.

Check preparation

Confidence begins with clear checks

Tell your specialist anything that may be important and ask questions before treatment begins.
