Preparation step by step

If a Citiwell specialist has given you individual instructions, follow them. Otherwise, this plan is enough.

3–4 weeks before

  • Do not remove hair from the root: avoid waxing, sugaring, epilators, and tweezers.
  • You may shave if needed.
  • Use SPF 30+ on exposed areas.

5–7 days before

  • Take a break from tanning and sunbeds before your treatment.
  • Avoid deep peels, resurfacing treatments, and harsh scrubs on the area.
  • Ask us in advance about pausing retinoids or acids used on the treatment area.
  • Tell us about herpes, irritation, or other skin changes.

12–24 hours before

  • Gently shave the area with a clean razor until smooth.
  • Do not use wax or an epilator.
  • Avoid cuts; if the skin is damaged, contact us.

On the day

  • Arrive with clean, dry skin.
  • Do not apply cream, oil, deodorant, makeup, or perfume to the area.
  • Wear loose clothing that will not rub the skin.
